About Michelle Nicole
Michelle Nicole is a single mother of two raised in Scarborough, Ontario. She witnessed firsthand the barriers that arise living in a low income community. After feeling the need to support low income families, Michelle Nicole dedicated herself to successfully becoming a Social Service Worker.
After completing her diploma she landed her first job at a Women’s Place Centre where Michelle Nicole was able to create and facilitate programs for women and girls. One program was specifically designed to help support women and girls who have experienced domestic violence, partner violence and trauma; the second program was designed to provide women and young girls empowerment through discussions and resources. After seeing the steady and consistent flow of participants in her programs she decided to put on an event in which she was able to share in depth her own personal story on Grief & Loss. Michelle Nicole’s Grief & Loss event was a success with more than 40 participants, amazing guest speakers, and reliable resources. On this day Michelle Nicole discovered her true passion: working to provide support, strength, guidance, knowledge, resources, encouragement, and empowerment for young girls and women. By turning her passion into her now business, Made BeYOUtiful was born.
